Zardari said they learned politics from her, just as she had learned from Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He shared that friendly countries had advised Benazir Bhutto not to return to Pakistan, but she chose to honor her promise to the people.

Zardari recalled that Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom was unexpected and painful. He said he had advised her not to go out on the day of her assassination, but she was fearless and determined. He stressed that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always faced hardships but never stepped back from its mission.
In his concluding remarks, the President said Pakistan will not be allowed to break apart and urged supporters to stay strong during imprisonment and political pressure.
